Terms of Use

Last updated: September 17, 2026

This document describes what Mamusic provides to you, what you may do with the songs you create, and the rules we ask you to follow. It is written to be read, not to be worked around.

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms of use govern access to and use of the Mamusic service. Mamusic is published by [COMPANY NAME], registered under number [RCCM], with its registered office in [CITY], [COUNTRY].

By creating an account or starting a creation, you accept these terms without reservation. If you do not accept any part of them, do not use the service.

We may change these terms. Any substantial change will be notified to you by email or in the app at least fifteen days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date constitutes acceptance.

2. What the service does

Mamusic produces music tracks using generative artificial intelligence. You describe an idea and choose a style, or write the lyrics yourself; the service produces two audio versions that can be downloaded as MP3.

Generation relies on models supplied by third-party providers. The result is unpredictable by nature: two identical requests do not produce the same song, and we guarantee neither a specific style, nor a given quality, nor resemblance to an existing artist or work.

The service is provided as is, with no commitment to permanent availability. We may interrupt it for maintenance or change it.

3. Account and eligibility

Using the service requires creating an account with a valid email address, which you confirm with a code. You can also sign in with a Google account.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of your legal guardian.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account. Notify us without delay if you suspect unauthorised access.

An account is personal. Sharing, reselling or making an account available to a third party is prohibited.

4. Credits, prices and payment

The service works without a subscription. You buy credits in packs, and each creation uses a number of credits shown before it starts.

Prices are shown in CFA francs (XOF), including taxes where applicable. Payment is made by Mobile Money through our payment provider. Credits are added to your account once the provider has confirmed the payment, which may take a few moments.

Credits do not expire, have no monetary value outside the service, and can neither be refunded in cash nor transferred to another account.

  • If a creation fails for a technical reason on our side, the credits used are automatically returned to you — there is nothing you need to do.
  • A credit purchase is not refundable once the credits have been used, as the service is performed when the song is generated.
  • A purchase that was charged but not credited within 24 hours must be reported to us at [CONTACT EMAIL]; we will check with the payment provider and put it right.

5. Rights in the generated songs

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we assign to you all the rights we hold in the songs resulting from your creations, for both personal and commercial use: broadcasting, monetisation, distribution on streaming platforms, use in a video.

This assignment takes effect as soon as the creation is complete and the corresponding credits have been charged. It is not withdrawn if you later close your account.

Please note: the legal status of works produced by artificial intelligence is not settled in the same way in every country. Depending on the jurisdiction, a generated song may not be protectable by copyright, which means you may not be able to prevent a third party from reusing it. We do not guarantee the exclusivity of a song.

We reserve the right to use excerpts of creations made public by their author to demonstrate the service.

Our team may also pick some songs to present in the app — in the featured selection on Explore or in themed collections anyone can listen to — including songs their author has not published. Only the title, cover, audio and the account’s display name are shown, never your email address or your description. You can ask for a song to be removed at any time at [CONTACT EMAIL]; deleting the song from your library removes it too.

6. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the service to produce or distribute:

  • content imitating the voice, name or identity of a real person without their written consent, including a well-known artist;
  • content reproducing lyrics, a melody or a recording protected by a third party's copyright;
  • hateful, discriminatory, defamatory or violent content, or content inciting violence;
  • sexual content involving minors, or any content that is illegal in your country or ours;
  • content intended to mislead others about its origin, in particular by presenting it as a third party's work.

7. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, in particular the section on prohibited uses, or that attempts to get around the technical limits of the service. Except in the event of serious misconduct or a legal obligation, we will warn you beforehand and give you the opportunity to explain yourself.

If an account is closed for a breach, unused credits are lost. If it is closed at your request, or by us without any breach on your part, unused credits are refunded pro rata to the price paid.

8. Liability

You alone are responsible for how you use the generated songs, in particular their distribution and monetisation, and for the instructions you give the service.

We cannot be held liable for indirect damage, nor for loss of income, data or opportunity. In any event and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

None of these limits applies in the event of intentional misconduct or personal injury.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY]. In the event of a dispute, we invite you to write to us first so we can look for an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of [CITY], [COUNTRY].

For any question about these terms: [CONTACT EMAIL].
